Discovery Swing Set

My kids love it, and so do the rest of the kids in the neighbourhood. We have had it for one season so far and it held up well through a hurricane and several other storms, as well as lots of wear and tear from all the kids using it. We have had six kids playing on it at the same time, three swinging (we replaced the bar with a baby swing)and three sliding. The only complaint that night was when the kids had to go in for bed.

Small packaging was somewhat deceiving, as the assembly was a long process. It took several hours with three guys from the neighbourhood to build it, although a few beers upon completion with the boys was fun. All the parts were there and the only extra item I bought for it (other than the baby swing) was a set of small washers for the screws to hold the tarp on.

My wife is happy, my kids are happy and that makes me happy.

[...]. With someone helping me, it took us 8 hours to finish it without breaks.Some of the designs were a little flimsy. I had to get longer screws than what was prescribed to hold some of the pieces in place.Lastly, the wood pieces tend to split. I had to use wood glue to keep some of it together.
