PlayCore Discovery Center 5 with Roof and Optional Mount Kit

PlayCore's Discovery Center 5 with Optional Mount Kit is a comprehensive learning center with five decks and 12 events. Accommodating 20-25 children at a time, ages 2-5, this play structure incorporates a multitude of sensory activities for your children to enjoy. The physical activities, including the slides and climber, allow for development of gross motor skills, while the gear panel and other small motor panels help develop your child's fine motor skills. Children are encouraged to participate in dramatic play thanks to open-ended play areas and semi-private areas beneath the play decks. Each play system includes two slides, a vine climber, and PlayCore's TouchMath learning panel that brings the award-winning math curriculum outdoors. The ground-level bench with raised art surfaces allows kids to socialize and explore their artistic side. Additional accessories are listed below. Made with commercial-grade plastics, this structure is designed to withstand heavy play. All plastic components are made from heavy-duty roto-molded or blow-molded components. This play structure meets ADA guidelines and is commercially compliant with ASTM and CSPC. The recommended use zone for this play structure is at least 28 feet by 31 feet.

Use of PlayCore's Mounting Kits for Discovery Centers (not included) is required for proper installation.

PlayCore's Discovery Center 5 Mounting Kit is required to install your play structure safely and to meet commercial playground standards. Prior to choosing a mounting kit, it's best to identify the most appropriate surface material for the play area.

The ground spike with 8-inch footer mount kit is ideal for engineered wood fiber (EWF), while the Anchor Bolt with 2-inch footer is best used with resilient surfacing such as rubber tiles, poured-in-place surfacing, or bonded rubber surfacing. These two kits are the surface mounting options. The in-ground kit can be used with either kit for in-ground installation and is appropriate when laying wood fiber on sandy or loamy soil, as well as when installing rubber tiles or poured-in-place surfacing over a non-concrete base.
