The Component Playgrounds Charley Metal Swing Set suits the child who knows what he likes in swings. The powerful metal piping, mounted in cement, is the furthest thing from typical rickety residential swing sets. Strength aside, choosing a metal set means never worrying about splinters or replacing beams.

 

Installing Your Swing Set

  • The playground must be installed into concrete footings.
  • Purchase 80-lb. bags of high-quality concrete mix at your local hardware store. Refer to swing set instruction sheets for the amount necessary for your set.
  • Each leg has the extra length necessary for cementing into the ground.

                  Q1: How does item CPG022 anchor to the ground?

                  A: The Component Playgrounds Charley Metal Swing Set is anchored to the ground by concrete. You will need to dig a hole into the ground approximately 12" by 18", put the poles of the swing set into the ground, and pour concrete around it.
