Best advice is to read ahead in the instructions. For example the top bar has a top and a bottom, this is "never" mentioned in the instructions until you discover can't hang the swings at the end. The trapeze bar is NOT the one pictured. It is the plastic green one with handles. We ordered for the actual BAR not the plastic handles. Metal holes to put screws through are not punched out all the way. We had to bend the holes ourselves in almost all the pieces to get the screws to fit.

This product can be found at other locations for alot less money. The customer service people were friendly, although they would not cancel my order even before it had shipped and would not price match the other store.

I got this swing set for my two toddlers, ages 2 and 3. They played on it all summer and never tired of it! My 2-year-old is just big enough to sit on a swing by herself, and I've spent hours pushing two little kids on swings and catching them as they come down the slide!

I have to say, I don't know what other reviewers are talking about with assembly and parts issues. While the directions could use more detail, I haven't put together a product in the past 10 years that has had as much information in the directions as I'd like! All assembly instructions were correct and my husband and I were able to understand them. We also didn't have any missing parts, and thought that the parts were labeled EXCEPTIONALLY well!

Here are three things that I really love about this swing set:
The chains for the swings are "safety-coated" with a rubber/plastic tube that keeps little hands from getting pinched.

The slide has tall edges (bumpers) that will keep kids from falling off the side.

The screws that secure the components to the top of the swing set frame have rubber caps to prevent them from rusting.

I also think this swing set is a great value. Other kids up to 11 years old have had fun playing on it, and it's a great piece of equipments!

Finally, I also used the Swing Set Ground Anchor Kit found on this site to secure the swing set safely into the ground. It works like a charm and is an easy-to-install safety measure.

assembly would have been much easier if all correct peices were supplied. thankfully we had a hardware store nearby. as far as shipping on a timely manner we were very pleased. I believe you need to work on quality control. with todays economy every sale should be handled efficiently and correctly.
